A composite program inspired by the spectacular festivities at the Habsburg court in Prague and Vienna, prepared for Emperor Rudolf II by the court painter and portraitist Giuseppe Arcimboldo. The dance scenes feature allegorical figures of the seasons and the elements, the beautiful Flora accompanied by the three Graces and Rudolf himself as Vertumnus.

Allegorical rafts on the Vltava River – a unique procession of ancient gods and allegories featuring star performers: River God – Václav Chalupa, one of the most notable figures in Czech and world rowing history. Silver medalist at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, with multiple World Championship medals and a total of 14 medals from world regattas. / Goddess Aphrodite – Mirka Topinková, Olympic gold medalist and the most successful Czech female rower. As Knapková, she won gold at the 2012 London Olympics and is a 2011 World Champion and four-time European Champion. / God Apollo – Vláďa Milota, Junior World Championship medalist in double sculls. / Bacchus – Zdeněk Bergman, a Prague boatman who revived the St. John’s festivities under Charles Bridge.
From 9:30 PM to 10:45 PM, watch the gods on rafts in Rybářská Street. At 10:45 PM, the entire procession floats along the route from the weir below St. Vitus Church to the castle, Lazebnický Bridge, and the brewery waterfront.
